Children's Museum

We decided to take a trip to the Children's Museum for a little afternoon fun! Aiden had a great time and it was nice to get out and not think about grown-up stuff!

1st Trip to the ER

We had our first trip to the ER tonight. (And hopefully our last) Aiden started complaining about his tummy hurting after he sneezed. While Jeremy was giving him a bath he noticed a lump in Aiden's groin so we contacted our pediatrician and she advised up to take him to the ER. By the time we got to the ER he was feeling much better. He was a great little patient. He listened to the nurses and doctors and did everything asked. He even laid very still for about 10 minutes during an ultrasound. They found the hernia during the ultrasound. Since it was not considered emergent they sent us home and told us to talk to our pediatrician who would refer us to a pediatric urologist. Over all it was not a bad experience. Aiden did a great job and we were only there about 2 1/2 hours.

Let's Play in the Snow!

I took Aiden out to play in the snow today and he had so much fun! He made snow angels, climbed up mountains, and walked down hills. (The mountains and hills would be the places were the snow was packed higher) He even stuck his whole face into the snow to see what it would taste like. The only thing he did not like was getting snow in his gloves, that made him angry!

Mario Cart

I asked for Mario Cart for Christmas and I think Aiden should have asked for it! He loves to play! He asks to "drive" all the time and gets better and better each day! Another video game lover has been born!

Coloring!

I bought Aiden a coloring page of his name with a frame. The frame came with six copies of his name so we can do one each year and see how his coloring changes. I found them at Holiday Mart and thought is was a great idea. He did his first one this evening and I have the other five put up for future years. He also enjoyed posing for pictures while he was coloring!
