Children's Museum

While I was still on maternity leave we headed to the Children's Museum for the day. My mom went with us. We had a great time. The museum was so quiet and not very crowded. Aiden enjoyed checking out the new frog exhibit! It was a nice day!

Making Cookies!

Aiden has seen a commercial for a cookie maker that makes all kinds of colorful cookies. So instead of buying whatever he saw, we made our own cookies at home. I made some dough and colored it. Aiden picked out some cookie cutters and we went to work. Aiden was a great helper. He rolled out the dough and cut out the cookies. I think his favorite part was eating the cookies!

Jump Time!

Alex is finally getting to the point we can sit him up and he can hold his head, so we got the jumparoo out! He is very happy sitting and looking at the different toys! Aiden likes to play with him too!

Hilton Head!

Since I was on maternity leave we were able to go to Hilton Head with my family for a week. We had so much fun! We went to the beach, played in the pool at the house, went to a lighthouse, and played some miniature golf. Aiden loved the water so much! He had a blast jumping in the waves! Alex was a great traveler and loved sleeping in his cabana on the beach. Aiden is already asking when our next trip to the beach will be!

Play Time!

As Alex is growing up, he is beginning to play! I laid him on his play-mat one day and he had so much fun. He kicked and moved and loved looking at the animals. It was super cute to watch!

The Many Faces of Alex!

Alex is starting to get more active and we have started to see his eyes more and more. He has also started to make faces to show his personality! We see his tongue a lot. He likes to stick it out!

Alex is 2 Months Old

Alex is two months old and growing quickly. He is starting to show us his eyes more and more. He is getting more vocal and has graduated to his own room at night. At his 2 month check-up he weighed 16 pounds, 9 ounces and was 24.5 inches long. Alex does not miss any meals! Although he is a hearty eater, we love his pudgy legs and little rolls! It is super cute!

Aiden's 1st Day of Pre-K

It is so hard to believe Aiden is in Pre-K. Since I am on maternity leave I was able to take him to school and pick him up! He was very excited to start a new school year. I think it is going to be a great year!
