Gambling Time!

Jeremy and Dad had just finished the poker tourney when we returned from dinner. Jeremy placed 5th and Dad 4th, just out of the money, but they all enjoyed the experience. Since Aiden was asleep Mom offered to take him to her room so Jeremy and I could go out. So we headed over to the Luxor with Kim and Dad to meet up with Niki and David to do some gambling. I sat down at a Price is Right nickle slot, pulled four times and won $537! I was so excited so I cashed out. Jeremy then won another $70. It was a good evening for the Arickx family!

Rainforest Cafe!

Mom and I took Aiden over to the MGM hotel for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. The rest of the crew was playing in a Poker tournament so it was just to two of us. Aiden enjoyed the Rainforest to a certain point and then I think he was just so tired he couldn't take anymore. He fell asleep in my lap before we finished dinner.

More time at the POOL!

After a hot day at the Mirage, we headed back to the Monte Carlo to cool off! Aiden really enjoyed swimming and my mom had rented a Cabana for the day so we were out of the sun and had a place to hang out! Aiden had a great day!

Vegas Attractions!

Since we had Aiden, we decided to check out one of the kid friendly Vegas attractions. Jeremy, my dad, Aiden, and I walked down to the Mirage to check our Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Aiden really enjoyed the dolphins. You were able to be really close to the water which made it even more exciting. It was another hot day, but we had a good time!

Vegas Baby!

When in Vegas; visit the Bellagio! At least this is what you do when you take your 2 year old to Vegas! So we walked down the strip to the Bellagio and watched the water show. Aiden loved the music and water so we watch the show three different times. We also went in to check out the cool exhibit in the lobby. Aiden loved all the water features and really liked watching the water "crash" in the air. He was fast asleep before we even started our trip back to the hotel.

Pool Time!

Once we arrived in Vegas we decided to head to the pool for some play time. There were four different pools at the Monte Carlo which included a lazy river and wave pool. Aiden enjoyed hanging out in the wave pool and floating along the lazy river. It was hot, so the pool was very refreshing!

Let's go Flying!

We took Aiden on his first plane ride for my brother's wedding in Las Vegas. He did a great job on both the trip there and back. He slept, read, colored, and looked out the windows. He enjoyed the flight and hanging out in the airport! He was a great traveler so I guess it is time to plan our next vacation!
