We decided, OK I decided, to make cookies tonight after Zoo Boo. Aunt Kim and Grandpa came over to help! Aiden loves cutting out the cookies, rolling the dough, and decorating the cookies. He seemed to enjoy eating the cookies the best. We all had a lot of fun!

Halloween Cookies!

ZOO BOO!
Friday afternoon Jeremy and I decided that rain was pretty much over so we headed down to the Zoo for Zoo Boo. After being there for about a half hour, Jeremy noticed it was getting darker and said we should head to cover, so we went to the pavilion where the trick or treating was taking place. The rain started about a minute after we were inside. It rained for about 20 minutes and then ended for the day so we went out and visited some more sites at the Zoo. We went to the Elephant chat and took a ride on the train. Overall it was a nice afternoon, and we managed to stay dry!

Children's Museum Program
I decided to take Aiden to a program at the Children's Museum during Fall Break! Aiden made some really cute pumpkin crafts and then played with Halloween colored rice, orange toys in water, and tossed bean bags into pumpkins. We had a nice morning. After the program we visited the trains and then headed out since the museum was getting REALLY crowded!

Quaker Day Parade
It is a family tradition to go to the Quaker Day Parade each year. The parade usually runs down US 40 but due to construction, it was moved to some of the neighborhood roads in Plainfield. I thought this made the parade even better. Everyone was so much closer to the parade action and Aiden received A LOT of candy! It was a great day for a parade!

Party Time!
Picture Day!
Aiden had picture day at school today. I got him dressed and then took a few pictures at home. Aiden does not like to have his picture taken, but he loves to look at his pictures. So I was able to get him to smile by telling him he could look at his pictures after I took them. I think he looked very handsome. I am looking forward to seeing the school pictures, hopefully he smiled. He did tell me that he held a pumpkin in the picture, and he said he smiled. I guess we will see in a few weeks!
