Playroom
We decided that the toys were overtaking our house and changes needed to me made. So we went to what was our office and began a renovation. I had to give up my scrapbooking desk and now all my supplies are stored in the closet. We also took a bookshelf out of the room in order to give Aiden more space. Jeremy painted and added a magnetic chalkboard to the wall for Aiden. I created the pictures on the wall by painting some canvases and adding pictures I cut out using my Cricut. We just need some curtains and the room will be done. We are very happy with the change and the only thing remaining of the office is a desk to house some items we still need. Aiden loves his playroom and was very excited when it was all done!

Surgery!
After visiting the ER we were referred back to Dr. Kaefer, who did Aiden's first surgery. We went to see Dr. Kaefer on Wednesday after Aiden woke up with some stomach pain and a fever. Dr. Kaefer explained that hernia has been with Aiden from birth. He told us that we could have the surgery as soon as Friday or we could wait until is more convenient. I decided I would rather get it done so we did not have to worry about Aiden being in pain. So we took Aiden in today for the surgery. I think the hardest part of the day was that the surgery was not until 2:30pm and Aiden was not allowed to eat after midnight. It is very hard to explain to a 2 year old that he cannot eat breakfast or have any milk. But he did a good job and did not complain too much! He was once again a great patient. He went with the nurses and came out of the surgery very well. He was a little sore, but very happy once we let him eat and drink. He watched Caillou on our way home and I made him a strawberry shake that evening and he really enjoyed the special treat.
