4th of July Fireworks!

We headed to the park to watch the Plainfield fireworks this year. My mom and dad went with us. Aiden had fun playing in the park before the fireworks. Once the fireworks started he jumped up and down and shouted WOW many times. It was a great show!

Pillow Tower!

Aiden asked Jeremy to make him a pillow pile he could knock down. Aiden loved running through the kitchen and jumping into the couch pillows. The pile eventually just became pillows on the floor, Jeremy got tired of standing them back up and Aiden had just as much fun running and jumping onto the pillows. I think he would have played this game all day!

Boulder, Colorado

I went to Denver for the ISTE conference with some colleagues from work. While we were in Denver we visited Boulder. It was beautiful! We walked through Boulder and even found a mountain to climb. I was not really prepared to walk up a mountain in my sandals, but it was worth it. Even the fall I took on the way down was worth the unbelievable views! I think this is one place I would like to visit again for a vacation!

Happy Anniversary!

Jeremy and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this year! Jeremy planned a wonderful celebration. First, he sent me roses. Then, he took me to a great dinner at Iozzo's Garden of Italy. We finished the night on a carriage ride through downtown! I could not have asked for a better anniversary! I am so excited to see what the next 10 years bring!

Happy Father's Day

Aiden gave Jeremy two of his favorite items for Father's Day, smarties and cotton candy. We also bought a bucket and decorated it with candy stickers and then filled it with smarties. Aiden kept telling Jeremy all week we bought him candy stickers. Jeremy was so confused, and it all made sense once he received the gift. Hopefully we can keep the bucket filled with smarties for awhile, I bought a 10 pound box!

Day Out With Thomas!

We took Aiden to see Thomas again this year! It was a little hot, and Aiden does not like the heat. But he seemed to perk up when he was able to play with the trains, pet some animals, play a little putt-putt, and eat a snowcone. He really enjoyed the ride on Thomas as well! Once again it was a fun filled day and there was a lot to do and see.
