Thursday of Family Vacation Week took us on our second 1 tank getaway. We headed with some friends to Indiana Beach for the day! Once again Aiden had so much fun! I think the Frog Hopper was once again the favorite ride. I think Aiden rode the ride at least 25 times. This year he was able to ride more things like the bumper cars. We also rode the sky chairs and the log ride. It was a wonderful day!

Fort Wayne Zoo
Tuesday of our family vacation week took us on our first 1 tank getaway; the Fort Wayne Zoo. We had heard Fort Wayne had a really nice zoo and Parents Magazine named it one of the top 10 children's zoos in the country! It was a terrific zoo. All the animals were up close and personal and the zoo was designed with kids in mind. Aiden's favorite part was the log ride through the Australian Outback. We had a great day and it was well worth the drive!

Hanging out with Aunt Kim
Aiden and I went up to visit Aunt Kim and play at the park in her neighborhood. There is a Splash Park right down the street from her house. Aiden loved running through the water and playing! After playing in the water we went to dinner in Broad Ripple and then over to BRICS (Broad Ripple Ice Cream Station) for some ice cream. Aiden really wanted a cone, but he thought he could eat the cone before the ice cream which did not go so well. Luckily I planned for this and had a cup ready for the ice cream. After the ice cream, we found this little train planter along the Monon so we took a quick picture.
Minuture Golf
Jeremy took the week off, so we decided to do some little things each day to make it feel like we were on vacation. Monday, we started off with a trip to play miniature golf. Aiden LOVED IT! He had so much fun and played really well. He legitimately scored a 2 or 3 on eight holes. It was a lot of fun playing and he has asked to go play again!
By the way, Aiden put this hat on at home before we left and said, "I look perfect." How could we not let him wear it out? My sister brought him the hat back from the Running of the Bulls!
